Fans of the baking show ‘The Great British Bake Off’ can now get their very own ‘Hollywood Handshake’ in the new themed game by Ravensburger in August 2022.
The Great British Baking Show Game will put bakers (players) against each other in rounds to decide whether they create bakes that are fast and potentially sloppy (no one wants a soggy bottom!) or slow and methodical but potentially not finish in time! Eek!
The game includes hit parts of the TV show such as the aforementioned soggy bottom, Hollywood handshake and other memorable snippets. There is also a HELP! feature that, just like in the TV show itself, players, or rather, bakers, can help each other out in an emergency.
With 2 – 4 players, from ages 10+, each game should last approximately 20 minutes.
In an effort to keep as close to the TV show as possible, Ravensburger have hired the same artist who draws the concept art for the cakes in the show itself to create some of the graphics for the game, this in itself already gives the game a familiar feel which will comfort both new and experienced gamers of any age.
All in all, if you love the show and you love board games, this one will be a winner for you! Make sure you get ready in August 2022 for your very own Hollywood handshake!
